Sara L. Pfaff, PhD.
I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Kenyon College. I graduated from Brown University in 2018 with a doctoral degree and a passion for ethnic American literatures, qualitative research, rhetoric, and critical analysis. As an educator, my pedagogy is designed to provide my students with the skills, guidance, and resources they need to develop innovative intellectual work that will have a positive impact on the world around them. I seek to leverage my training and experience in an English or Rhetoric and Composition position at an institution of higher learning that strives to foster equity within its community and intellectual growth, creativity, and integrity in its students.
“The blind woman shifts attention away from assertions of power to the instrument through which that power is exercised.”
Toni Morrison
"Be not the one who debunks but the one who assembles,
not the one who lifts the rugs from under the feet of the naive believers but the one who offers arenas in which to gather."
Bruno Latour
